Print, paper, and sizes
All prints are produced on heavyweight 200 gsm matte paper with archival pigment inks and ship from our studio in Chandler, Arizona. How are figures chosen?
We aim for a mix across time periods, fields, and gender. We update the collection annually around Black History Month based on customer requests and contemporary figures whose legacy is meaningful.
Can my school order in bulk for a Black History Month display?
Yes. For orders of 10+ prints, email [email protected] with your school name and the figures you'd like to feature. We respond within one business day.
What sizes work for a hallway display?
For a corridor with foot traffic, 11×14 in a 6 or 8-print grid works well for "walk and read" pacing. For larger displays in commons or library walls, mix 16×20 and 11×14 in a salon-style hang.
How long will the colors last?
Our archival pigment inks on 200 gsm matte paper are rated to remain vibrant for 100+ years under indoor lighting and out of direct sunlight. Frame behind UV-filtering glass for additional protection in rooms with strong natural light.
How do I hang prints without a frame?
Many customers use removable poster tape, washi tape, or 3M Command strips along the edges. Our 200 gsm paper is heavyweight enough to lay flat against most walls without curling.
