Emotions Feelings Wall Art

Emotions Feelings Wall Art

Naming a feeling is the first regulation skill. Our emotions and feelings collection puts the vocabulary on the wall — emotion wheels, feelings charts, and “I feel” prompts — so that children, students, and clients have language at their fingertips when the body is moving faster than the mind.

Why feelings charts work

Decades of affective neuroscience — including work popularized by psychiatrist Dan Siegel as "name it to tame it" — show that putting language to an emotion engages prefrontal circuits and softens limbic reactivity. A feelings chart is not decoration; it is a literacy tool that supports regulation by giving the user words.

What is in this collection

  • Emotion wheels — based on Plutchik and other widely taught models, in age-appropriate visuals.
  • Feelings charts — from simple 8-feeling kindergarten charts to richer 30+ feeling adult charts.
  • "I feel..." prompts — sentence starters for therapy, classroom, and family use.
  • Body-feelings maps — where emotions show up physically (chest tightness, stomach knot, jaw clench).

Where they fit

  • SEL teachers (K–8) — morning meeting check-ins, classroom regulation stations.
  • Child & family therapists — play-therapy rooms and family sessions.
  • Parents — teaching emotion vocabulary at home.
  • Adult learners — therapy, journaling, recovery work.

Frequently asked questions

Are these posters a substitute for therapy?

No. LOLUIS prints in this collection are educational and decorative; they are not a clinical intervention or a substitute for professional mental-health diagnosis or treatment. They are designed to support work that you, your client, or your student is already doing with a qualified provider. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or visit 988lifeline.org.

What is the difference between an emotion wheel and a feelings chart?

Functionally similar — both help with naming. Emotion wheels (Plutchik-style) show how core emotions cluster and intensify outward. Feelings charts list more granular vocabulary in a flat grid, often grouped by happy/sad/scared/angry families.

Do you have Spanish versions?

Yes — see our Spanish Therapy collection for Spanish-language emotion wheels and feelings charts.

How long will the colors last?

Our archival pigment inks on 200 gsm matte paper are rated to remain vibrant for 100+ years under indoor lighting and out of direct sunlight. Frame behind UV-filtering glass for additional protection in rooms with strong natural light.

How do I hang prints without a frame?

Many customers use removable poster tape, washi tape, or 3M Command strips along the edges. Our 200 gsm paper is heavyweight enough to lay flat against most walls without curling.

Do you offer bulk pricing?
